This optimistic message is the title of a popular song from the famous Monty Python film "Monty Python's Life of Brian" (1979). Monty Python's Flying Circus was the name of a very popular British television programme broadcast by the BBC between 1969 and 1974.
In this series several British actors (such as John Cleese and Eric Idle) produced a kind of surrealistic, often absurd humour.
In those short sketches (e.g. "The Dead Parrot Sketch" or "Ministry of Silly Walks", the characters attracted attention by their strange, silly or discourteous behaviour. Eric Idle was not only an actor and the co-screenwriter of "Monty Python's Life of Brian", he also composed this famous song, skilfully arranged for wind band by Manfred Schneider.
