Written for Allan Jones and the Werneth Concert Band, this jaunty, bubbling five movement suite presses all the buttons. A Miniature March, a Sad and Sentimental Waltz, a Skittish Scherzo an Elegy and finally a Rondo from Rio complete this richly scored programme. A real breath of fresh air and a piece every high school and community band will want to play.
