The highly acclaimed Broadway musical Hamilton has taken the country by storm and already garnered a number of awards, including a Grammy Award for the soundtrack and the Pulitzer Prize for drama. Featuring a masterful blend of hip-hop and R&B, here is the show-stopping My Shot in a terrific arrangement for band that can be performed with or without the optional rap.
This piece represents feelings of solitude, loneliness, confidence, determination, and conflict. The central theme's rhythm is built on a sad soul's name, solos for the instrument she played, and her love of nature and art.

John Rutter (b.1945) is one of England's best known composers of choral literature. While his choral works, including "Te Deum," "Magnificat," and "Requiem," are the most familiar, he has also written numerous instrumental works. Rutter composed the "Nativity Carol" for SATB chorus and organ in 1963, and it was published in 1967 as part of a collection entitled Carols for Two Choirs. Although the title suggests a seasonal work, its musical richness lends itself favorably for performance at any time of the year. (4:00)
The New Baroque Suite is a composition based on baroque motives. Many wind bands with a certain musical level had a lot of fun with this piece in sixties and seventies. And not only the musicians but also the audiance were much pleased with the fine melodies and the beautiful timbre.
The New Baroque Suite consist of 3 parts: Overture, Air and Fugueing Tune.

New London Pictures represents elements of London in the 21st Century. The Millennium Bridge describes the pedestrian’s journey across this wonderful new landmark bridge over the Thames, starting at the imposing Tate Modern, crossing the busy river, and onwards to St. Paul’s Cathedral with its bells ringing out over the great city. London Eye is an incredibly large ferris wheel situated on the South Bank of the River Thames. This movement depicts a ‘flight’ on this riverside wheel, at the top of which the panoramic view of London is breath-taking and the expanse of the music is a suitable depiction of the view. As with all modern cities, London is over-crowded with motor vehicles. London is the first major city in Europe to adopt a Congestion Charge, and this piece (with its stop and go traffic lights) is both racy and comical. Here are Londoners attempting to go about their business in the face of overwhelming odds.....
