TESEO is a symphonic poem based on four mythical scenes from the famous Greek hero Theseus. This work begins in Athens, where Theseus is invited to a feast at which it was officially acknowledged that he is the son and successor of King Aegean. In Trip to Crete the composer describes the ship expedition made by our hero. Next in Theseus and the Minotaur the music chronicles the struggle between them. Finally in the last movement Back to Athens a beautiful melody of strong emotional content recounts the victory of our Greek hero.
