Audience will enjoy this fantastic concert opener by Carl Strommen. The percussion section opens this celebratory work with a distant cadence leading into a lovely woodwind chorale. As the intensity increases, the brass enter with a bold statement of the opening theme. A graceful transition then leads to a bright and joyous section that brings Centennial to an energetic close.
