This carol was composed at the height of the Gothic Era---a period which found composers experimenting with and utilizing an intriguing new concept: counterpoint. Students will enjoy playing the memorable melody in this arrangement while they are learning about a very significant period in the development of Western music. (Grade 1---Easy)
