Three Moods for Concert Band was written to capture moods often found in school hallways and classrooms. Energetic, attempts to depict the energy found in the hallways just before classes commence. Students are moving through the hallways (in a hurry) headed to class. Questioning depicts the curious mood of many students. Questions are \asked and answered\"" between various sections. The last question is left lingering. Laughing is a comical romp with the descending patterns depicting laughter. The ratchet should be loud enough as it occurs just before each burst of laughter.
