Shadows of Eternity completed in 1989 is intended for good school band upwards.
 
This score has created wonderful new timbres in it combining not just those of winds and percussion, but also those of female singing voices. The work was inspired by the poem The Retreat by English poet Henry Vaughan (1662 - 1695).
